Hope Land Hotel Sukhumvit 8

Nice old residence. Hotel rooms are big with a quality you just don't see in modern hotels.

The advertisement said good breakfast. There was no Breakfast available. Had to walk 200 metres for a breakfast. Furniture was stained badly.

Staff was super attentive, went out of their way to attend to every question or request. Security better than any Hotel I stayed at in Thailand (3 month traveling meant many hotels). Accidently damaged some sheets, and was amazed at how little they charge

My shower door would not stay all the way closed, which guaranteed the floor was wet after, smooth wet marble in barefeet is a deathtrap.

Like a home environment

Does not have non smoking sign. People smoke inside the rooms, and the smell spreads to the hallway.

Very good location in Sukhumvit Soi 8 close to Nana BTS station and Terminal 21 mall. Complementary golf cart ride down the soi to Nana station.

Hotel requires a 2000 Thai Baht security deposit in CASH only. Room did not merit such a deposit (?for smoking??). Returned on check out but worried during stay whether it would be returned as no reason given for deposit.

Very clean and very nice rooms. Quiet room. Comfortable room.

The staff at the front desk and the entrance of the hotel were not very friendly or kind. Also you did not advertise that a cash deposit is necessary to stay there (not a credit card on file). This was inconvenient for me as arrived late at night.

They didn’t replace a broken chair on my balcony,I asked 3timesThe don’t empty the ash trays around the pool or clean the bar area very well

Super friendly staffs, perfect location, close to the beach and nice breakfast. I recommend this hotel if you travel to Phu Quoc.

- Stuff helped me and changed my room to avoid construction- You can smoke on balcony

- Roof place is very boring- No washing machine- The lobby smells a bit like sewage.

Breakfast was great! Missing some bacon but make up for it with the dumplings :-P. The staff... omg the staff is the 2nd best part to staying here aside from the location and the size of the rooms. I am a digital nomad and live in hotels all year around, this place is great! Fast, reliable internet, the tuktuk takes you to all the great spots close to the hotel and the action is just outside the door but enough feet away to get a good nights sleep. They are currently building a new hotel next door so it can be a little loud (Dec 4 2025) but honestly its not very noticeable unless you like to sleep in super late.

I had a great room with a decent view and enjoyed access to the pool and gym. The staff were very helpful and there is a ride service to the BTS if you need it. I used it once with my bags. The complementary coffee in the lobby is a nice touch.

I feel bad for guests who stayed on the construction side of the building. It was loud, dusty, and there's no view. So it really matter which side of the building you are on or which floor. Breakfast was pretty expense for what was being offered so I skipped it.

Location is great. Quiet but close to all the action. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room is comfortable and spacious.

Sadly, the Wi-Fi was very slow and the connection was weak.

The only in don't like is the lobby i can't seat there is smell bad like old cabinets you don't open like hundreds years

The location of the hotel is excellent, really close to the center but on a quiet street so there is no noise in the rooms. Our room was large, spacious and well-equipped, the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very basic but good.
